MathWorld Introduces New Interactive Features for Teachers and Students

July 6, 2005--Wolfram Research and the MathWorld team are pleased to announce the unveiling of a number of exciting new features on the MathWorld website. These enhancements are the result of several years of effort by the MathWorld team (consisting of MathWorld author and creator Eric Weisstein, math on the web developer John Renze, and MathWorld associate Ed Pegg, Jr.) and enhance the usability, interactivity, and navigability of the website.
The new MathWorld Classroom provides a set of pop-up "capsule summaries" for more than 300 entries in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, pre-calculus, calculus, number theory, and other math courses ranging in educational level from elementary school to graduate school.
